The Davies Family

This is always one of my favourite families to take pictures of because of the GORGEOUS Mom.  Steffi has been one of my best friends for many many years, through thick and thin (or fat and thin...LOL).  I love that we are always able to sneak out on a fall day and capture some great shots of her bright green eyes and colourful hair!!  The kids were great, smiling through FREEZING cold winds and putting up with my many posing ideas! (even though its really not cool for a teenager to do this sort of thing...)  I love these three people, they are the closest thing that I have to family here and I look forward to next fall to see what colours we will capture then :)

S, C and Family

A very wonderful thing we see in this day and age is blended families.  I think that these two really rock this venture and treat each others kids SO much like their own.  Was a freezing cold day but they all showed up smiling and full of Jets pride!!  (I am a HUGE fan so loved this!!) The thing I loved is that you could see the comfort with each other, no matter who's who they are family.  Thanks Sheryl for giving me the opportunity to capture some cold fall memories with you guys, it was wonderful!

The P Family

Two fiery redheads and a family full of sarcasm and laughs.  This was a super fun shoot and everyone was so easygoing!  We fought against some cool winds but were able to capture some family photos that I hope they will enjoy as much as I do!  Thanks Park family for giving me your great family to work with!!

The K family

One of my favourite sayings is "If you want to know what kind of a person you are, look at the people closest to you".. This lady is one of my closest and dearest friends.. so I know that I MUST be an ok person.  Claudia is genuine, caring and has the MOST giving heart of anyone I know.  They have 3 beautiful kids, so when she asked if I could do up some photos of their children to put up in their home,  I was ecstatic!  Of course, she does not realize how GORGEOUS she is and what a picturesque family they make, so I forced her and Wolfgang to at least take a couple with the kids to have for their albums.  I couldn't be happier with the results.  S and B are super busy boys but they never hesitate to take a quick moment to love their little sister L.  This family is the true picture of a loving, caring small town farm family...

L, J and family

Loved spending the afternoon with this family.  Leslie and I have known each other for 18 years and even though we don't really hang out that much I have always thought highly of her.  Her and Jason are so sweet together and they have created a gorgeous and very loved little family.  "G" is such a handsome little man and "C" was such a trooper with the wind sucking away his breath!  Things haven't always been sunshine and "roses" (haha) for this family but you can tell that their life events have made them so close and so grateful for what they have.  Les, your house full of boys will be a handful someday but they are PERFECT in their own ways and I couldn't be more excited to share these pics with you!!

The Bernard Family

Thansgiving is such a great time to get together with family.  There are no gifts, no chocolates, no flowers...just loved ones spending time eating and visiting and feeling the warmth of being together while fall moves in and gets us geared up for the holiday season.  It was a busy day taking pictures for me but looking back at this family and their photos,  I can't help but grin from ear to ear.  They have had some obvious struggles but you can tell that nothing stops them, nothing gets them down and nothing brings them all together more than being there for each other.  From Tess with her awesome smile and the boys with their eagerness to throw each other in the leaves...I couldn't have asked for a better "group" to spend the afternoon with.  Thanks Bernard family for letting me capture your beautiful family photos, I hope there are some keepers here to hang above your table next thanksgiving :)

T, B and Family

I can't imagine that there is a day that goes by that these three kids don't keep their Mom hopping!  I was so happy that they were able to work out a family gathering so that I could take some pictures to hang on their wall (last one is from GRADE NINE, right Tracy??)  The sun was a bit difficult at times but I think we were able to at least capture a few pics that will work!  Thanks for having patience with me moving you throughout the sun-rays and making you SMILE until your cheeks hurt!  Lots of excitement on the horizon for these folks, can't wait to see where life takes you...I hope these pics will always bring you back to your family! :)
